Top 10 comedy shows in Barcelona

A recurring Clubhouse night in The Lounge at Laietana, on the first and third Thursday of the month at 22:00, per the Eventbrite series listing. Pairs of local comics trade insults head to head, and a panel of comedians picks the winner. The results feed the Roast Battle League.

The listing gives €10 online, €12 at the door and €9 each for groups of four or more. We print no date here, because the Clubhouse series page showed no dated night on 2 November. Check the Clubhouse calendar for the next date.

It scores full marks for language, format and visitor fit. Regularity is 5 of 10 until a dated page confirms the next Thursday. The room itself is in the Laietana review.

A speed-dating show at Laietana, about once a month. Volunteers from the crowd sit down for a quick date on stage while the hosts ask the questions. The club sums it up as "First Dates meets comedy chat show". You can stay in your seat and only watch.

It is listed for Friday 6 November at 20:00 and Saturday 21 November at 21:00, from €10 online. Our format mark is 10 of 10, and visitor fit is full because the theme suits a couple. Regularity is 5, since it has no fixed weekday.

The club's weekend showcase, in English, on Fridays and Saturdays at 20:00. The club lists the two nights as The Friday Spotlight and The Saturday Spotlight, with the same format, prices and room, so we score them as one show. Its home is The Rumpus Room at Canvis Nous.

In our data it runs on Saturday 7 November, a Fringe edition at Laietana at 20:00 and again at 21:30, then on 20, 21, 27 and 28 November at Canvis Nous. The Fridays of 6 and 13 November and Saturday 14 November carry Fringe shows instead.

Tickets cost €12 online, €15 at the door and €10 each for groups of four or more. The club calls the Friday night its "crown jewel", with "rock-solid stand-up sets and a featured headliner". The page does not name the acts. Our format mark is 7.5 of 10, a step below the two shows above.

It earns full marks for language and for visitor fit: a central address, a prime start time and a group price. Read more in the Canvis Nous review.

A one-off gong show on Friday 6 November at 23:00 at Canvis Nous, in English. Anyone who signs up gets a six-minute set, and the audience decides how long it lasts. The club bills it as "Barcelona's most brutal comedy showdown between audience and comedians".

Tickets are €10 online and €12 at the door. Our format mark is 10 of 10. It has one date in our data, so regularity is 5, and the late start costs a point of visitor fit. It shares 84.5 points with the next two shows and wins the tie on format.

A one-off debut hour on Friday 6 November at 20:00 at Canvis Nous, in English. A second Fringe date is listed for Saturday 14 November at 20:00 at Mint Bar. Tickets are €5 online and €7 at the door, which makes it the cheapest paid show in the ten.

The show's page says she won a Gong Show at the London Comedy Store; the text was cut off on the page we read. She is also listed as the host of the Saturday comedy night at Tinta Roja in Poble-sec. We found no public rating.

A weekly showcase on Sundays at 20:00 in The Lounge at Laietana, in English. We have dates for 22 and 29 November. The Sundays of 8 and 15 November are Fringe weeks and carry other shows.

Tickets are €10 online, €12 at the door and €8 for groups of four or more. The club bills it as "weekend-calibre comedy". No outside rating exists, so the quality part sits at 5.5. It scores full marks for regularity because the event page says Sundays and two dates are listed.

A weekly showcase on Wednesdays at 21:00 in The Lounge at Laietana, in English. In our data it runs on 4, 18 and 25 November. It does not run on 11 November, which is Fringe week.

Tickets are €8 online, €10 at the door and €7 for groups of four or more, so it is the cheapest weekly showcase. The club calls it an "expertly compiled showcase" and tags it as a Top Pick on its own site. That tag is the club's view, not ours.

Pair it with the free Pub Quiz Show at 20:00 in the same building for a full evening. See the Laietana review for the room.

A weekly improv night on Thursdays at 20:00 in The Lounge at Laietana, in English. It runs on 5, 19 and 26 November. On 12 November the same night is listed at Canvis Nous, spelled "Behaviour", for €5.

Tickets are €8 online, €10 at the door and €7 for groups of four or more. The club describes it as "a fast-paced, unscripted night of fun and funny comedy". The quality part is 5, since the page names no performers and there is no outside signal.

A weekly stand-up show on Thursdays at 21:00, in English, at Bar Imprfcto on Avinguda del Paral·lel. This is one of the two places for a venue outside the Clubhouse programme. Its listing calls it "award winning stand-up comedy in English every Thursday".

You pay what you think the show was worth as you leave, a "reverse box office". That earns full value points. The weak spot is regularity: the ticket page is undated, and we found no 2026 Thursday confirmed on any page we read. Check the listing before you go.

The listing gives the bar at number 104 on the avenue, but the page header shows another street, so we use the number in the details block. Treat the address as unconfirmed.

A weekly English stand-up show on Sundays at Mint Bar, on Passeig d'Isabel II. Doors open at 20:00 and the show starts at 20:30, for about 90 minutes plus a break. The audience must be 18 or over.

We found no price on any page we read. The Eventbrite page said sales had ended, so we cannot confirm that a Sunday in November is on sale. The organiser says the show runs every Sunday, and its last Sunday of each month includes a full hour from the host.
