Group night out in Barcelona

The short answer

The Comedy Clubhouse is the one club in our data that sells a cheaper ticket to groups. From four people, many of its shows drop by one to three euros a head, online only. For a group of four, that is a few euros off a night out. It is a small saving, but it is a real one.

Book a showcase if you want a shared laugh, the quiz if you want the group to play, and a late free night if you want to stay out. The dated list at the top of this page shows the shows that carry a group price in the next weeks, and the rest of the page explains how to use it.

For a group of four. Wednesday Night Comedy at 21:00 costs 28 euros in total online. Sunday Night Comedy at 20:00 costs 32 euros. A Spotlight showcase costs 40 euros. The quiz at 20:00 on Wednesday is free. Book on the club's showcases page. Data read on 2 November 2026.

Group prices, show by show

The table lists every recurring show with a group price in our data. A group price is the online price for four or more people. Single tickets cost more, and the door costs more again.

Festival evenings at the Casino Barcelona (Cotton Club) also set group prices, from €10 to €12, and some festival shows at Laietana set €10. Prices on a festival evening change with the show, so read its event page.

One more point. The club's showcases page quotes price ranges, and the event pages often show a higher door price. We use the event page figure each time, since it is the one on the ticket. Our Top 10 comedy shows ranks The Spotlight third, with the Sunday and Wednesday showcases a few places below.

How to book for four or more

1. Choose the show on the dated list at the top and open its event page by clicking the name.
2. Check that the page lists a group price. If it does not, the show has none.
3. Pick the number of tickets in the ticket step. The group price is the online price for four or more, so compare it with the single price before you pay.
4. Pay online. The group price is not available at the door.
5. Arrive together, before the start time.

We could not read the ticket cart itself, so we cannot confirm that the group price applies automatically at four tickets. If it does not, write to the club before you pay. The club lists an email address and a WhatsApp number, and both are on the room reviews.

Free nights that suit a group

A group does not have to pay. The Pub Quiz Show on Wednesday at 20:00 is free and played in teams. The club describes it as a room full of teams and one comedian in the way. Four friends make a team, and the evening starts an hour before the showcase.

Karaoke on a Friday starts at 23:00 and is free. Live in The Alcove, a Saturday music night, also starts at 23:00. Both are labelled for all languages, which helps a mixed group. They sit at Laietana, close to the bar.

Open mics are free too, but they suit a group less well. The line-up is whoever shows up, and a group that talks over a nervous first-timer is not a welcome table. Use them for a short, polite visit. Our open mics guide lists the nights.

Shows built for a crowd

Some formats give a group something to do. A gong show lets the audience end a comedian's set with a gong; Gong Wild runs on irregular dates at Canvis Nous for €10 online. Major League Bombs lets the audience throw baseballs at jokes they dislike, and it is free.

A hot sauce contest between comedians also appeared in the data, in Fringe week only. LOLyamorous, the dating show with audience pairs, runs about once a month. If you want a group night with a game in it, the quiz is the only one we can promise every week.

Showcases are the safe choice. Several comedians in a row mean a weak act passes quickly, and a mixed group will like at least one. For a group with mixed English, read the next section.

Food, drink and seating

Laietana has a kitchen, and food can be eaten during a show only on its upper floor. A group that wants to eat should choose an upstairs show or order ahead for the lower floor. Canvis Nous has a bar and no kitchen.

The seating is the open question. We found no seating plan, no table booking and no capacity for either room. A group of ten will not necessarily fit at one table. Ask the club and tell it your numbers in advance.

The club says the rooms are busy on Fridays and Saturdays, so arrive early. We do not know how a room fills or whether seats are assigned.

Agree the way home before the show, too. A late group with a Friday or Saturday ticket should check the night bus on TMB, since the club names no station.

Settle access before anyone pays. A group with one member who struggles on stairs should read the room reviews first, because every show floor involves a stair. The club will arrange early entry for guests who warn it, so the person who books should do that on behalf of the group.

Big groups, parties and companies

The club has a corporate page at thecomedyclubhouse.es/corporate. We have not read it, and our data holds no price for a private event. That page is the place to start for a company evening.

For a birthday or a farewell party, write to the club with a date and a headcount. Nothing on its public pages sets a maximum group size or a deposit, so there is no number to quote. Be honest about the group: the room is for adults by default, and teenagers from 16 may come with a grown-up.

For a very large party, a theatre may fit better. Teatre Muntaner has three floors and Teatreneu has two rooms. Both sell Spanish-language shows on their own sites and publish no group price in our data.

Three group nights, costed

A Wednesday for four

Play the quiz at 20:00 upstairs, free, as a team. At 21:00 move to Wednesday Night Comedy. Four tickets at €7 each cost 28 euros, and the show ends about 22:30. The whole evening stays in one building.

A Friday for six

Meet for The Friday Spotlight at 20:00 at Canvis Nous. Six tickets at €10 cost 60 euros online. If the group wants more, Friday Night Live starts at 22:00 in the same room at the same group price. Finish at Laietana with karaoke at 23:00, which is free.

A Sunday for five

Sunday Night Comedy starts at 20:00. Five tickets at €8 cost 40 euros. The workshops at 15:00 on alternate Sundays are free, so a group can try an improv or clown session first. See our workshops guide.

Groups who prefer Spanish or Catalan

The other eight clubs in the Top 10 comedy clubs run shows in Spanish or Catalan, apart from the two English nights at Secret and Craft. None publishes a group price in our data. For these, buy single tickets for everyone on the same session and book early.

Check the language on the ticket page before you pay for the whole group. The Spanglish Show at the Clubhouse is the one bilingual night we found, and it carries a group price.

How we collected the group prices

Group prices come from the price lines on the club's own event pages, not from its summary page. We keep the figure and the date it was seen. Totals on this page, such as 28 euros for four, are our arithmetic from those figures.

We have not been to the rooms with a group, so we say nothing about how a table feels. Notes from a real visit will be marked as such when someone has been. How we rate shows the data behind the Top 10.
