How does a comedy dating show work?
The club describes the format as First Dates meets a comedy chat show, in an unhinged, unpredictable evening. Audience volunteers are paired, and each pair has a two-minute date on stage. After the date, the comedians and a sex-and-relationships therapist question the pair, and the audience watches.
The tagline on the page promises that you can date someone on stage and get professional love advice. We take that as the promise of the format, not a guarantee of what any night contains.
You can sign up to take part at the door, or simply watch. The page does not say how many pairs go on stage, how volunteers are chosen or whether you can choose who you date. Ask the staff when you arrive.

When does LOLyamorous run?
It is irregular. Eventbrite calls it a monthly show. In our data, the November dates are Friday 6 November at 20:00 and Saturday 21 November at 21:00. The club's calendar also holds dates in October.
A 2024 Trip.com listing shows earlier runs in February, April and December of that year. It names James Regal and Willow Star as hosts. We could not match those names to the current pages, so treat the hosts as unconfirmed for 2026.

How much does it cost?
The price changes by date. For 6 November, the page shows €10 online and €12 at the door. For 21 November, it shows €12 online, €15 at the door and €10 for a group. Only the second date lists a group price.
On 2 November the booking button for the first date showed coming soon, although the calendar listed a ticket. If you cannot book online, the door price is the fallback. The pages do not say whether the show sells out, so book early for the Saturday.
Compare that with the club's other evening shows. Wednesday Night Comedy starts at €8 online, and the Saturday Spotlight at €12. LOLyamorous sits in the middle, and for a group the Saturday date is the cheaper way in.

Is it a good date night?
It depends on the pair. A show where strangers date on stage can be fun to watch as a couple. It can also be awkward if one of you dislikes being near the stage. The page says you can sign up at the door or just watch, so a quiet seat is an option.
The room matters for a date. The Lounge is downstairs at Laietana, Via Laietana 6. The Clubhouse has a kitchen on site, so you can eat before the show. Our date night guide sorts the shows by budget and start time, and our Laietana review describes the room.
The club's default is adults only. Teenagers from 16 may come with a grown-up, and younger guests need a special agreement. Given the theme of the show, ask the club about age before you book for anyone under 18.

Who is it for?
It suits groups of friends, couples who like audience shows and visitors who want something different from a stand-up line-up. It suits people who enjoy watching strangers be awkward. It suits less well anyone who wants a polished set from a named comedian.
For stand-up without audience participation, try the Friday or Saturday Spotlight at Canvis Nous. For a night with Spanish in it, The Spanglish Show on Thursday at 22:00 is bilingual by design. Our English nights out guide lists more.

We do not know how many volunteers go on stage, who the experts are on a given night, how long the show lasts or whether the show sells out. The event page is short. Nobody from this site has attended LOLyamorous, so nothing here describes a night we sat through.
