How we rate

Each club gets a score out of 100 on six criteria: shows and line-up 25, ease for visitors 20, value for money 15, room and atmosphere 15, shows every week 15 and public ratings 10. Every number comes from a dated source, such as the venue's own page, and a criterion with no data is left out of the total, never guessed.

The full method, with the sources, is on How we rate. We score clubs and shows from published information. We do not claim a visit we did not make.

Disclosure

We have a working relationship with The Comedy Clubhouse. It runs two rooms, The Clubhouse: Laietana and The Comedy Clubhouse: Canvis Nous, and they hold our top two places. Their scores come from the same method as every other club's, and the method is public.

Some other venues and shows listed are our partners too. Links to the Clubhouse carry a source tag (utm_source=barcelonacomedy.com) so it can see which page sent a visitor. No link on this site carries an affiliate code.

Send us a show

We build the listings from the venues' own public pages and ticket pages, and we date every entry.

If you are a comedian or a promoter, send a show through the contact form: put the link to the public event page in the message and say that you agree to have the show listed. We add it once the event page confirms the date, the place and the price.

Corrections

If a price, time or date on a page is wrong, write to us through the contact form and name the page. We check it against the venue and correct the page.
