What's on in Barcelona comedy this month (November 2026)
A month of Barcelona comedy in one place: the English-language nights, the Fringe weeks and what costs nothing.

The short answer
November has three different months in it. The first week is a normal programme, the second is the Barcelona Fringe, and the last two weeks return to the weekly nights with two one-off headliners on top. Everything below is dated, and every price was read on 2 November 2026.
If you only have a weekend, pick Friday 20 or Saturday 21 November at Canvis Nous for a headline showcase, or Friday 6 to Sunday 15 November for the Fringe. If you are in town for a week, build around Wednesday at Laietana, where a free quiz and a €8 showcase sit in the same building.

Where. Almost everything runs in two rooms in Ciutat Vella: The Clubhouse: Laietana at Via Laietana 6, and The Comedy Clubhouse: Canvis Nous at Carrer dels Canvis Nous 10. On the club's own estimate, you can walk from one to the other in about two minutes.

Week by week
Monday 2 to Sunday 8 November: the normal programme, then the Fringe
Monday and Tuesday are free open mics at Laietana. Coming In Hot starts at 19:30 on Monday, with Shitty Mic at 21:00. On Tuesday 3 November, Fat Goose starts at 19:30 and Big Mic Energy at 21:00. Big Mic Energy, on the first and third Tuesday of the month, is the one aimed at women, non-binary comedians and first-timers.
Wednesday 4 November has the Pub Quiz Show at 20:00, which is free, then Wednesday Night Comedy at 21:00 for €8 online. Craft Barcelona lists Punchline Passport the same evening at 19:30, free and pay what you want, but we read only that one date.
Thursday 5 November is improv with Typical Adult Behavior at 20:00 for €8, a free music open mic at 21:00 and the bilingual Spanglish Show at 22:00. In El Raval, Secret Comedy Club runs Thorny Thursday from 22:00 to 23:30. The Fringe starts the next day.
Monday 9 to Sunday 15 November: Fringe week
From Friday 6 November, the schedule at both rooms turns into the festival. Laietana lists 93 dated shows between 2 and 15 November, and Canvis Nous lists 60. Many are free afternoon hours, and the evenings cost €5 to €15 online. Our Fringe picks sort them.
The headline dates are all at Laietana. Brexico plays on Tuesday 10 November at 20:00 and Michelle Ahern on Friday 13 November at 20:00. Sid Singh Presents follows on Saturday 14 November at 20:00. Guiri's Guide to Barcelona closes the festival on Sunday 15 November at 20:00.
Noam Live in Barcelona plays Thursday 12 November at 21:30. With a web price of €24 and a door price of €26, no other ticket in our data costs more. Monday 9 November also has a morning workshop, Go Viral (Or Have Fun Trying), at 11:00, which is free.
The weekly shows lose their slots in this week. On the Wednesday and Thursday of 11 and 12 November, Fringe acts take the usual showcase times. On 8 and 15 November the same happens to Sunday Night Comedy. Expect to see them again on 22 November.
Monday 16 to Sunday 22 November: the weekly nights return
The data has no rows for Monday 16 November and only a few for 17 to 19 November. The list may have been cut at source, so treat these days as unconfirmed and check the Clubhouse site. What we can see is Fat Goose and Big Mic Energy on Tuesday 17 November, then the quiz and Wednesday Night Comedy on 18 November.
Friday 20 November brings the headline showcases back to Canvis Nous: The Friday Spotlight at 20:00 and Friday Night Live at 22:00, both €12 online. On Saturday 21 November, The Saturday Spotlight plays at 20:00. LOLyamorous, the speed-dating comedy show, is at Laietana at 21:00 that night.
Saturday 21 November also has the Open Writing Workshop at 15:00 and Sunday 22 November the Open Improv Workshop at 15:00, both free. Sunday Night Comedy returns that evening at 20:00 for €10 online. Our workshops guide covers the three sessions in detail.
Monday 23 to Sunday 29 November: the last full week
The pattern of the first week repeats: the open mics on 23 and 24 November, the quiz and showcase on the 25th, improv on the 26th. A new free open mic, New Jokes, Who Dis?, appears on Tuesday 24 November at 21:00. On Friday 27 November, an Anything Else? open mic for music, spoken word and storytelling starts at 19:00.
The month ends with Saturday 28 November. Nordic AF plays twice at Laietana, at 19:00 and at 21:00, for €10 online. The Saturday Spotlight is at 20:00 at Canvis Nous. On Sunday 29 November, the Open Clown Workshop starts at 15:00, a free open mic called Ridiculab at 18:00 and Sunday Night Comedy at 20:00.

What it costs this month
Most of November costs nothing or close to it. Of the 93 dated shows at Laietana between 2 and 15 November, 50 are free, and the median paid ticket is €10 online. At Canvis Nous, 38 of 60 shows are free and the median paid ticket is €8.
The weekly showcases cost €8 to €12 online. Wednesday Night Comedy and Typical Adult Behavior are €8, Sunday Night Comedy is €10, and the Friday and Saturday showcases are €12. Every one of them has a group price of €7 to €10 a head for four or more, bought online.
Fringe specials run from €5, for Irene Sango Live and Dead Parent Society, to €15 for the festival sampler. The door price is usually a few euros higher than the online price. One show needs care: Scot Oswald: Rose Garden on 7 November is listed as free, yet the same page asks for a donation of your choice and a purchase at the bar.

Three plans for the month
A date
Wednesday Night Comedy at 21:00 is the safe choice, with several acts and a quiz beforehand if you want to eat first. LOLyamorous on Saturday 21 November is built for couples, because audience pairs take a two-minute date on stage. Our date night guide lists the other evening shows.
A group
Pick a night with a group price. The Saturday Spotlight on 21 and 28 November costs €10 a head online for four or more, and Sunday Night Comedy €8. The Best of The Fringe sampler costs €12 a head on 7 November. See the group night out guide for how to book.
On your own
The Wednesday quiz is played in teams, so you can join one. The open mics are free and short, and nobody asks you to perform. Our English stand-up and open mics guide has the dated list.

If you want Spanish or Catalan
English is not the only comedy in Barcelona in November. Teatre Muntaner runs Spanish-language comedy on four days of each week, and its median ticket is €20. Club Cronopios lists a session almost every evening, with a median of €10. La Sala by LastCrit runs monologues in Spanish and, on 7 November at 22:30, one in Catalan.
The Clubhouse also lists a few shows in other languages during the Fringe. David Arnau plays in Catalan at Canvis Nous on 7 November at 21:30, and Las Negretti plays in Spanish at Laietana the same night at 23:00. The label on each event page tells you which language to expect.

What to check before you go
Open the booking page for your date. Dates move, and a Fringe week replaces the usual programme. We re-read the venues' own pages every Monday and change this post when a fact changes, but a show can sell out between two Mondays.
Check access too. Laietana's upper floor has wide steps and no handrail, and Canvis Nous sits in a basement down a steep stair. Early entry is available if you ask the club ahead. Dogs are allowed, and the house rule is adults only.
Getting home late is a job for the planner on TMB, which also lists the night bus. No source we read gives a station for either room, so we do not guess one. Tickets are sold on the Clubhouse site, and you book through its showcases page.

Questions people ask
Is there comedy in English every day in Barcelona?
At the Clubhouse, yes outside the Fringe gaps. Its Laietana room lists English shows on all 14 days from 2 to 15 November, and Canvis Nous lists them on 10 of those 14 days. Other clubs in our Top 10 mostly run in Spanish or Catalan, so English comedy elsewhere is a few nights a week at most.
What is the cheapest night out this month?
It is free. The open mics on Monday and Tuesday, the Wednesday pub quiz and the weekend workshops at Laietana cost nothing. A paid showcase starts at €8 online, as with Wednesday Night Comedy, and a Fringe special can cost €5. The most expensive show we found is €24 online.
When is the Fringe, and what changes?
The Barcelona Fringe runs from 6 to 15 November and fills both Clubhouse rooms from late morning to after midnight. The usual weekly slots change: the Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday nights lose dates on 8, 11, 12 and 15 November. The Friday and Saturday showcases return on 20 and 21 November.
Should I book ahead for a weekend show?
Yes. Door tickets are normally on sale unless a night is full, but a few shows fill up every time, and Saturdays are the likeliest. Online is cheaper than the door, and groups of four or more get a lower price only when booking online.
What if I do not speak Spanish or Catalan?
Pick a night that states English on its event page. Every show at the two Clubhouse rooms carries a language line, and the club labels any other language. The Thursday Spanglish Show mixes English and Spanish. For Spanish rooms such as Teatre Muntaner, assume the show is in Spanish unless the page says otherwise.
