The short answer

Club Cronopios is a café-theatre at Carrer de Ferlandina 16, in El Raval. It lists a monologue and improv session almost every evening, in Spanish, from about €10. Many sessions include a drink.

Go if you speak Spanish and want an easy, cheap night with a drink in your hand. Skip it if you need English, or if you want to choose a named comic. The listing gives one format, and it does not say who is on.

The club ranks 6th in the Top 10 comedy clubs in Barcelona, on 50 points, scaled from 45 of the 90 we could check. It has the most sessions of any other room and the fewest titles. How we rate shows the points.

At a glance. Address: Carrer de Ferlandina, 16, 08001 Barcelona, El Raval. 23 sessions from 2 to 15 November, on all seven days, but only 2 titles. Median from-price €10. Drink included in many sessions. Spanish, inferred. No website found.

Where it is

The address is Carrer de Ferlandina, 16, 08001 Barcelona. The barrio is El Raval, in Ciutat Vella.

The listing flags this address as approximate. Per its own words, the only valid address is the one on your ticket. In practice, the pin gets you to the street and the ticket gets you to the door.

One Atrápalo page names metro lines L1 and L2, station Universitat, for this address, and the club has no site of its own. Plan the trip on TMB, which covers the metro, the buses and the night bus.

Open in Google Maps for the street. We have not walked it, and nothing here describes the entrance.

What the room is like

Our data calls it a café-theatre. That means a room with a bar and a stage in the same space, where you drink while you watch. The listing confirms the drink side: many sessions are sold with one.

Beyond that, we know very little. The club has no website, and the ticket pages do not describe the room. We found no capacity, no seating plan, no stairs note and no toilets note. The scorecard gives the room 7 points out of 15, the middle of the range.

Two things are worth knowing about the sessions. On both Fridays, two sessions start 15 minutes apart, at 20:15 and 20:30. On Saturday, two start at 20:45 and 21:00. The listing does not explain this. It may mean two rooms or two shows at once, or an early and a late door. Ask the seller before you book two sessions in one evening.

Access and facilities

No access information is published. If your group needs step-free entry, write to the seller before you pay. A café-theatre in an older building can mean steps, but no source says so here, and we do not guess.

A normal week at Cronopios

This is the club with the clearest daily pattern in our data, and it repeated in both weeks. Sessions marked "+ Bebida" in the title include a drink. The others do not.

DayStart timesDrink in the title
Monday20:00Yes
Tuesday20:00Yes
Wednesday20:00Yes
Thursday20:30Yes
Friday20:15 and 20:30, plus 22:00 on 6 NovemberNo
Saturday18:00, 20:45 and 21:00Yes
Sunday13:00 and 18:00No

That is 12 sessions in the first week and 11 in the second, 23 in all. The one difference is Friday 13 November, which has no 22:00 session in the listing.

The pattern makes planning easy. If you land in Barcelona on a Tuesday, there is a session at 20:00. If you want a late show, Friday 6 November at 22:00 is the latest we found. For a lazy Sunday, 13:00 is a rare midday slot for stand-up.

The show

Nearly all sessions carry one title, Monólogos & Impro, with a drink or without. That is a mixed format: stand-up monologues and improvised comedy in one evening. The ticket listing does not say who performs, and the line-up appears to change.

The club's Taquilla venue page also lists other titles, such as Monólogos & Beers. They look like variants of the same format with a drink, and we did not read them as separate shows.

Our scorecard gives shows and line-up 13 points out of 25. That is low for a club with 23 sessions. The reason is the 2 titles: a visitor cannot choose between acts, and a repeat visitor cannot tell whether the night will be new.

On the other hand, a fixed format has a use. You know what you are buying: an evening of live comedy, often with a drink, at a low price. It suits a traveller who does not want to research a line-up.

What it costs

The median "from" price is €10 over the 23 sessions. That is the lowest median of the four rooms in places 3 to 6. Teatre Muntaner is at €20, La Sala by LastCrit at €12 and Secret Comedy Club at €12.

The "+ Bebida" sessions include a drink in the price. The listing does not say which drink, or whether there is a choice. That matters for value: a ticket with a drink is cheaper than a ticket plus a drink at a bar.

A longer run of the show, Monologues and Improv, also appears on Fever from 6 November to 27 December at €12. That is slightly more than the Taquilla "from" price, so shop around between the sellers.

The scorecard gives value 10 points out of 15, the top value score of the four. It loses points because the club has no free sessions and no published group price.

Who Cronopios suits

A cheap night out in Spanish

This is the club's core job. Doors open every day, the ticket is about €10, and a drink often comes with it. A group of friends can pick any evening of the week and find a session.

A date night

It can work for a couple who follow Spanish. A drink-inclusive ticket removes the question of what to order. The Saturday 18:00 session leaves the late evening free. Our date night guide lists rooms with English.

A group

With a session every day, finding a slot for six or eight friends is simple. No group price is published, so ask the seller before you buy a block. The group night out guide lists shows that publish a rate for four or more.

A visitor without Spanish

Improv leans less on prepared text, but Spanish improv still runs on quick language. If you have only a little Spanish, you may enjoy the energy and miss the jokes. The improv in English guide lists shows you can follow fully.

Someone who wants to try the format

The club sells the same format every day, so a first trip carries little risk. Pay for the drink version once and decide. If you want to try stand-up yourself, our workshops guide lists the sessions open to beginners.

Source: the Taquilla page for the club and our scorecard, seen 2 November 2026.

Booking and house rules

The club sells only through third parties. Taquilla lists the sessions and hands you on to a seller, and in our data the sellers are Atrápalo and Fever. We found no site of the club's own, and no phone or email to call about a problem.

Rules on age, refunds and late entry are not published for this club. The seller sets the refund terms, so read them before you pay. Screenshot your confirmation, since you cannot ring a box office to prove the booking.

A few sessions carry a low-availability flag on the listing, so a night can fill. For a weekend slot, buy a day or two ahead and not on the walk over.

How it compares

Against the Clubhouse, Cronopios offers a daily pattern in Spanish and a lower median price than the showcases. The Laietana review and the Canvis Nous review cover rooms with English and free nights.

Against the other Spanish-language rooms, Cronopios runs the most sessions, 23 in two weeks, against 16 at La Sala and 21 at the theatre. It also has the fewest titles, with 2 against 12 and 7.

It is the only room in this group where a drink is part of the ticket in the listing. That, and the daily pattern, are its real strengths. For a weekend with a few shows in English and one in Spanish, it is a sensible add-on.

Public ratingsLeft outNo rating on a page of the club itself

A Fever rating of 4.4 from 18 reviews turned up for a Monologues and Improv show, but only in a carousel of similar experiences on another venue's page. It was not on a page about this club, so we do not count it and the total leaves ratings out.

The total is 45 points out of the 90 available, which we scale to 50 out of 100. That puts the club in 6th place by score. The method page explains each criterion: see how we rate.

What we could not source

  • A website for the club. The city guide lists a phone and an email.
  • The capacity, the stairs and the toilets. One listing says only that the show is adapted for reduced mobility.
  • Who performs on which night.
  • The language of each session, since the Taquilla listing gives none.
  • A public rating of the club itself. The Atrápalo score is for one show.
  • Which soft drinks are on offer, and whether sessions without the drink in the title include one.
  • Why two sessions start 15 minutes apart on Fridays and Saturdays.

Nobody on our side has reviewed the club in person, and this page reports only what the listings say. A first-hand account and licensed photos are planned for a later update. For comedy you can follow in English, the Top 10 comedy shows in Barcelona lists what to watch in English.

Questions people ask

Is Club Cronopios in English?

No evidence of it. The listings are in Spanish, the titles are Spanish and the ticket page states no language, so we infer Spanish. We found no English session in the two weeks from 2 to 15 November. If you want English comedy on a Monday or Tuesday, the Clubhouse rooms run free open mics on those nights.

How much is a ticket?

The median "from" price is €10 over 23 sessions. Sessions marked with a drink in the title include one, though the listing does not say which drink. A longer run of the Monologues and Improv show on Fever is listed at €12. Check the final price at checkout, since a "from" price is the lowest on offer.

Which days is it open?

Every day of the week, according to the Taquilla listing. Monday to Thursday has one session at 20:00 or 20:30. Friday has two or three, Saturday has three and Sunday has two. The same pattern repeated in both weeks we read. The listing is the only source, so confirm a date before you plan around it.

What is the show?

Mostly one show, sold in a few versions: Monólogos & Impro, a mix of stand-up monologues and improvisation, with or without a drink. We found only two titles in 23 sessions. Who performs on which night is not published, so the line-up changes without notice. Treat it as a format you try, not a named act you book.

Can I trust the map pin?

No, not fully. Taquilla marks the address as approximate and says the only valid address is the one printed on your ticket. The street is Carrer de Ferlandina, number 16, in El Raval. Check the ticket for the exact door, and leave a few minutes to find it on your first visit.

Is there a bar or food?

Drinks are part of the offer, since many sessions are sold with a drink. We found no menu, no kitchen hours and no note on food. The room is described as a café-theatre in our data, which suggests a bar. Ask the seller if you need to eat, and have dinner before you come.

Is an alcohol-free drink included?

Yes, as one of three choices. Atrápalo says the ticket for Monólogos & Impro Barcelona + Bebida includes one drink to choose between beer, wine or a soft drink, so you can take the soft drink. Sessions without the drink in the title include none, so check which version you buy. The listing does not name the soft drinks.

Is Club Cronopios accessible for wheelchair users?

The Atrápalo listing marks the show as adapted for people with reduced mobility, the only access statement we found. It gives no detail on steps, doors or toilets, and the city guide lists no access notes. Treat it as a claim from the seller. Call the club on 658 589 017 before you book and ask what step-free route exists.

How old do you have to be?

Atrápalo lists a minimum age of 18 for Monólogos & Impro Barcelona + Bebida. Taquilla lists no age rule for its sessions. If you plan to bring anyone younger, ask the club first, on 658 589 017 or at clubcronopios@gmail.com, and keep the answer with your confirmation email.

How long is the show, and what happens in it?

Atrápalo lists about an hour and a bit, and a verified reviewer reports an hour and 15 minutes. The format has two parts: monologues by several comedians, then live improv built on anecdotes that the audience writes before going in. The second half depends on those anecdotes, so allow time to write yours.

Which metro station is nearest?

Atrápalo says metro lines L1 and L2, station Universitat, and notes that there is no parking. The address is Carrer de Ferlandina 16 in El Raval, and the ticket sites mark the map pin as approximate, so check the door on your ticket. Plan the exact walk on TMB, since we did not time it.

Can I get a refund or change the date?

Atrápalo says that once a ticket is confirmed it admits no changes or cancellations. It also says to collect your ticket on the day, from 30 minutes before the start, with the confirmation email printed or on your phone. Read the seller's terms before you pay, and pick the date with care.

Is Club Cronopios a members-only association?

It is registered as an association, and the city guide says entry is free for members and that joining is free. The shows we found are sold by ticket on Atrápalo and Taquilla with no membership step. If you plan to come often, ask the club on 658 589 017 whether membership changes the price.

What do other buyers say about the show?

Atrápalo shows 8.9 from 606 reviews for Monólogos & Impro Barcelona + Bebida, and 555 of those scores fall between 8 and 10. They come from buyers of that show and cover the improv format and the price. They are written in Spanish or Catalan, so they say little about comedy in English.

Does Club Cronopios have a website or a phone number?

We found no site of its own. The city guide lists a phone, 658 589 017, and the email clubcronopios@gmail.com for the association. Tickets come through Atrápalo, Taquilla and Fever. For a refund or a booking problem, start with the seller you bought from, since each one sets its own terms.
