The short answer

Barcelona Comedy Club is a promoter, not a club with a front door. It sells monologue nights that happen in different rooms: a Thursday night at Dr. Flow in El Born, a Comedy Selection series at ECA, and a Sunday show at Craft Barcelona.

That is why this review reads differently from the others. There is no single address and no single room to describe. We review the promoter's programme, and we give each room its own facts.

Go if you speak Spanish and want an easy Thursday evening with a drink. Skip it if you need a confirmed English show: for that, read the Clubhouse: Laietana review and the Canvis Nous review.

It sits at place 10 in the Top 10 comedy clubs in Barcelona, with 42 out of 100 points. The list counts it as a club because its nights recur on a fixed pattern, which is what a reader needs to plan.

At a glance. Type: promoter, several rooms. Thursday 20:30 at Dr. Flow, Carrer dels Vigatans, 8, 08003 Barcelona (El Born), from €10. Comedy Selection at ECA on Friday and Saturday, from €15. Sunday at Craft Barcelona, from €12. Language: Spanish, inferred. Tickets: ticket sites only.

What kind of thing this is

A promoter books comedians, picks a room and sells the tickets. The room belongs to someone else, and the staff, the seats and the bar are theirs. That matters for a visitor, because the promoter's name will not tell you what the room is like.

Barcelona Comedy Club appears on Taquilla as one listing with three rooms under it. Fever names a venue page for it too, titled for its Thursday and Wednesday nights, with the address of Dr. Flow. Neither site gives a street address for the promoter itself.

Fever's page describes the aim in one line: to promote local talent with shows that guarantee laughter. We quote it as the promoter's description, which is a claim and not a measure.

The club has a small site of its own, with a Reservas page that lists the weekly slots and a few event pages, so most of the programme comes from the ticket sites. Those pages are updated by the sellers, and they carry their own limits. A ticket page may lag behind a change of room or date.

Where the nights happen

Dr. Flow, El Born

The Thursday night is at Dr. Flow, Carrer dels Vigatans 8, postcode 08003, in El Born. The ticket page marks the address as approximate, and Fever gives the same street and number. The ticket you buy carries the address that counts.

No source we read names a metro stop for this room. Plan the route on TMB. Open in Google Maps to see the street.

ECA, one address from the club only

ECA stands for Espai de Creació Artística. The ticket page names the room and gives no street address, only a map link. Other listings we saw disagree with one another: one gives a street elsewhere in the city, and another gives the address of Craft Barcelona.

The club's own event page for a November show names Sala ECA at Carrer d'Ausiàs Marc 143. That is one source, so we print it as the club's address and not as confirmed. Before you book a Comedy Selection night, match it with the address on your ticket and check it on a map.

Craft Barcelona, the Sunday room

The Sunday monologue show is sold under the promoter's name and takes place at Carrer del Paradís 4. Our Craft Barcelona review covers the bar, the English night it also hosts and the location.

What is on in a normal fortnight

We found 10 dated sessions between 2 and 15 November 2026, across 2 titles. Sessions fall on 3 days in each of the two weeks, which gives the promoter a steady pattern. The Craft Sunday sessions are counted under the Craft review.

The Taquilla page shows the Thursday night running from 5 November 2026 to 27 May 2027, so it is a long-running series and not a one-off. Several dates carry a low availability flag.

The pattern is the strength of the entry. A reader can plan around Thursday at 20:30, or around a Saturday with three slots, without checking a calendar each week. That earns 10 points out of 15 for reliability.

The Thursday night at Dr. Flow

The series is called Jueves de Monólogos en el Born: Thursdays of Monologues in El Born. It starts at 20:30, and Fever gives a window to 22:00 for it. A listing from a regional tourism site says it is for people aged 18 and over.

A ticket listing on Atrápalo describes a related show, Monólogos con Flow, at 75 minutes with a drink included. A second Atrápalo listing gives 70 minutes. The two listings may describe different formats, so we do not state one length for the Thursday night.

The price is from €10. Fever lists the Thursday series from 5 November to 17 December at that price, and a Monólogos con Flow run from 6 January to 3 February at €12.

Fever shows a rating of 4.6 from 178 reviews for the Thursday series, seen on 2 November 2026. Fever shows the same 4.6 from 8 reviews for the January run. A rating from 178 people is a useful signal. A rating from 8 is not.

The line-up named in one Atrápalo listing includes several comedians, but we did not verify the names, so we print none. Expect a rotating bill, as in most monologue nights.

Comedy Selection at ECA

Comedy Selection is the Friday and Saturday series. Fridays run at 22:00, and Saturdays run at 18:30, 20:00 and 22:00. Three Saturday slots make it the busiest block in the promoter's week.

A ticket seller lists the full title as Monólogos de los buenos, Comedy Selection, which suggests a selection of monologues. The pages give no duration, no cast and no language.

The price is from €15. Fever shows a rating of 4.1 from 74 reviews for the series. Together with the Thursday series, the count-weighted average is 4.45 out of 5, which is what earns the promoter 7 points out of 10 for ratings.

The address is the issue. Do not set out for ECA on a Saturday evening until you have matched the club's address with the one on the ticket.

Source: the Taquilla listing and the Fever venue page, seen 2 November 2026.

What it costs

Prices run from €10 for the Thursday night to €15 for Comedy Selection. The median "from" price in our window is €15. The Sunday show at Craft sits between, from €12.

The Thursday night is the value pick: a ticket listing says a drink is included, and €10 is below every Spanish-language theatre ticket we found. The room score is the opposite, at 2 points out of 15, since a promoter has no room to score.

Sellers add booking fees. TaquillaTickets and Atrápalo can differ by a few cents on the same seat. Compare the total, not the headline.

For other cheap evenings, see our date night guide and the this week page.

Who it suits

A date

The Thursday night is a simple first date in El Born: early start, a drink included, and the whole evening still ahead. Check the age rule first.

A group of friends

The pages list no group price. Ask the seller before you buy for a party. Our group night out guide lists shows that do offer one.

Visitors without Spanish

Choose another night. Our English nights out guide lists the shows that run in English by date. A promoter with no confirmed English is a poor fit for a short trip.

Spanish speakers and learners

A recurring Thursday at a modest price is a low-risk way to practise. The format is a rotating bill of short sets, so one weak act does not sink the night.

Booking and practical notes

Book on Taquilla, Fever or Atrápalo. All three list the promoter's nights. Each shows its own price and its own fees.

Read the confirmation for the room and the address. With a promoter, the address can change between nights, and the ticket is the only reliable source.

The club's site lists the phone +34 630 386 547 and the email info@barcelonacomedyclub.com. We found no cancellation policy of its own. Your seller handles refunds, so read its terms before paying.

Source: the Taquilla listing, seen 2 November 2026.

How it compares

Against the other three reviews in this batch, this is the least tangible entry, because it is a name over several rooms. Cafè Teatre Llantiol and Teatreneu are single buildings with a clear programme. Craft Barcelona is one bar with an English night.

See the whole Top 10 and the Top 10 comedy shows to weigh the options.

Source: our scorecard and the venue pages behind it, seen 2 November 2026.

How we scored it

The promoter earned 11 points out of 25 for shows and 5 out of 20 for visitors. It earned 7 out of 15 for value and 2 out of 15 for the room. Reliability earned 10 out of 15, and ratings 7 out of 10. The total is 42 points out of 100.

The room score is the lowest in the list, on purpose. A promoter has no facilities to score, and we found no accessibility note or capacity.

Data gaps: a second source for the ECA address, the capacity of each room, and the language of each night. We list them so the reader knows what is solid.

We have not been to a night for this page, and nothing here describes a visit. The slot for our own notes is empty until someone has been.

What public reviews say

The quotes below are word for word, in Spanish as written, each with a translation line. All three are verified buyers on one Atrápalo show page, for Monólogos con Flow at Dr. Flow. They speak for that room and that show, not for the whole promoter.

RUT, 15 November 2024: “Buscábamos pasar una tarde agradable. Fue muy buena elección. No parábamos de reír.”

Translation: we were looking for a pleasant afternoon. It was a very good choice. We could not stop laughing.

MARIE, 23 June 2024: “El local Dr es muy especial, insólito y cálido.”

Translation: the Dr room is very special, unusual and warm.

HORACIO, 25 July 2025: “Muy bien organizado.”

Translation: very well organised.

Questions people ask

Is Barcelona Comedy Club a venue?

No, it is a promoter with a website but no single room. The club's site says it began in September 2012 and lists weekly slots: Thursday 20:30, Friday 22:00, Saturday 22:00 and Sunday 18:00. Its nights are sold in several rooms: Dr. Flow in El Born, Sala ECA, and a Sunday show at Craft Barcelona. Each room has its own address, so read the ticket.

Are the shows in English?

We found no evidence of it. Atrápalo lists Monólogos con Flow at Dr. Flow in Spanish, the club's own site is in Spanish, and one show page there describes Latin humour. One series is called Comedy Selection, an English title, but that says nothing about the language of the set. If English matters, write to the club before you book.

How much is a ticket?

The Thursday night at Dr. Flow lists from €10, and a ticket listing says the price includes a drink. The Comedy Selection nights at ECA list from €15. The Sunday show at Craft lists from €12. Seller fees can add a little, so compare the total at the last step of checkout.

Where is the Thursday night?

It is at Dr. Flow, Carrer dels Vigatans 8, 08003 Barcelona, in El Born, at 20:30. The ticket page marks the address as approximate, and says the address printed on your ticket is the valid one. No source we read names a metro stop, so plan the route on TMB.

What is the age limit?

Atrápalo lists Monólogos con Flow at Dr. Flow with a minimum age of 18, and a regional tourism listing also says 18 and over for the Thursday night. The ticket pages for the other nights state no age rule. If you plan to bring a younger guest, ask the club before you book, and keep the confirmation email.

Why is it ranked tenth?

The rank comes from points, not from a judgment of the jokes. Barcelona Comedy Club scores 42 out of 100. It earns few points for the room, because a promoter has no single room, and few for visitors, because English is unconfirmed. It does earn points for regular sessions and for ratings on Fever.

Is a drink included, and are there alcohol-free options?

On the nights that say so. Atrápalo lists Monólogos con Flow at Dr. Flow with one drink included, either a beer or a soft drink, so an alcohol-free choice exists for that night. The Sunday show at Craft is sold as monologues plus a drink, but its page does not say which drinks. Read the ticket text for each night.

Is Dr. Flow wheelchair accessible?

No source we read says. The ticket pages for Dr. Flow, ECA and Craft give no step-free access notes, no toilet details and no seating plan. If anyone in your group uses a wheelchair, call the club on +34 630 386 547 or write to info@barcelonacomedyclub.com before you book, and ask about stairs at the room you will use.

How long is the Thursday show?

Atrápalo lists Monólogos con Flow at 70 minutes, and an older listing of the same format gives 75 minutes. A regional tourism page gives a window from 20:30 to 22:00, which is 90 minutes. Treat it as about an hour and a quarter, and check the ticket you buy, since the format may change by date.

Where is the Friday and Saturday show at ECA?

The club's own event page for a November show names Sala ECA, at Carrer d'Ausiàs Marc 143. The ticket sites give no address for ECA, and listings elsewhere disagree, so we print the club's address and ask you to match it with your ticket. No source names a metro stop, so plan the route on TMB.

Can I book by phone or email?

Yes. The club's site lists the phone and WhatsApp number +34 630 386 547 and the email info@barcelonacomedyclub.com. Tickets sell through its event pages and through Taquilla, Fever and Atrápalo. Atrápalo says that once a ticket is confirmed it takes no changes or cancellations, so read each seller's terms before you pay.

What do reviews say about it?

Fever shows 4.6 from 178 reviews for the Thursday series. Atrápalo shows 9.9 from 9 reviews for Monólogos con Flow, a sample too small to lean on. The reviews we read are in Spanish and praise the room and the organisation. They cover the shows, so treat them as a signal about the night, not about English comedy.

How long has Barcelona Comedy Club been running?

Since September 2012, in the club's long version of its own story. Its history page says it began as an open mic and added professional shows in 2013, then a Selection series. The page is written in Spanish in a joking tone, with several invented versions, so treat the dates as the club's own account.

Do I need to book ahead?

Yes, for the main nights. Taquilla flags several dates as low availability, including Thursday 12 November at Dr. Flow, Friday 6 November at ECA and the Sunday 8 November sessions at Craft. Book online, keep the confirmation email and bring it on your phone or printed.
